“Next year” is now less than two weeks away, so it’s time to make those New Year’s resolutions! While we all have one or two we plan to make for ourselves, it’s beneficial to make some professional resolutions, as well! Here are three marketing resolutions we think real estate companies could benefit from in 2015!
Use Houzz for Real Estate Marketing
The fastest –growing home remodeling site in the country, Houzz, is only a few years old, yet already has more than 14 million users, and is frequented by people who want to buy homes. As a go-to resource for anyone remodeling a home, buying their dream home, or dreaming of doing so, Houzz offers real estate professionals an extensive platform to showcase their work and make connections with both designers and consumers. Real estate professionals can create a free profile that displays, in an attractive way, what makes your company and listings unique. Link your profile to your other social media pages for more engagement!
This is a new platform; that’s why it is important to make this resolution to join Houzz and get started immediately, because it’s growing at a rapid rate and you want to get in on the ground floor!
Focus More on Content Marketing
Content is king! Why? Because 90% of home buyers and sellers make their decisions by first conducting research online (Source: National Association of REALTORS)! If these people find your company’s content when doing their research, you have a huge leg up on the competition! Content in the form of blog posts, eBook or guides, and videos attract potential clients to your real estate company’s website via social media and search engines. That’s why it’s so important to create quality, informative content to attract potential clients.
61% of consumers say they are more likely to buy from a company that delivers custom content (Source: Yahoo Advertising). Dedicate more time this year to creating content and design a content creation schedule to manage and track your time in order to consistently produce content for your social media followers.
Maintain an Email Strategy
Once you are creating killer content like blog posts, be sure to send them to your contacts via email. By separating your emails into segmented lists and sending out separate content to different groups of people, you will be more likely to receive clicks on your emails, bringing the recipients to your blogs on your website. The more tailored an email is to a person or group, the more likely they will be to click and take action, bringing them one step closer from being just a lead to becoming a customer.
Incorporate a plan to send out eblasts to your segmented lists on a consistent basis as another way to share your valuable content and attract more clients to your real estate company this year!
