The real estate industry is fast-paced. Finding time to create new marketing content can be difficult, but luckily there are simple ways real estate companies can easily repurpose existing content to generate more website visitors and leads. Use these tips to continue your marketing efforts without having to take the time to create brand new content.
Turn a Blog Post into an Infographic or Video
Have a blog post that is very popular or one that provides insight into a specific portion of your industry? Provide this content to your target audience in a new, fresh way. Take the blog post points and create an infographic that will appeal to visual learners and link the infographic to your blog post. Are you handy with video editing? Make a quick thirty second video that reviews your blog post and provides a link to the content. This will give you fresh content to put out to potential buyers and sellers without having to spend the extra time to create brand new content.
Turn Sections of Content Offers into Blog Posts
Do you provide content offers on your website, such as a free downloadable Buyer’s Guide or Seller’s Guide? These content offers provide valuable content to your readers and help nurture them through the real estate sales funnel. The content within the guides focuses on their pain points and needs. Why not take individual points you have already researched and expand these into blog posts? Site visitors that download your guides already found this information helpful, so a blog post that expands on points within the eBook will most likely be found as helpful, too.
Expand on a Previous Blog Topic
Many topics are difficult to sum up entirely in one blog post. Lucky for you that makes writing more content easier! For example, if your real estate company writes a blog post titled, “8 Great Family-Friendly Restaurants in Downtown Raleigh” and this post is very popular, why not write “8 More Great Family-Friendly Restaurants in Raleigh” later in the year and revisit the popular topics. Repost Past Blog Posts in Social Networks
The best way to ensure your blog posts are found by your target audience is to post them in your social networks. Keep in mind, it’s totally acceptable – and beneficial – to republish those blog posts in your social networks in the future. Feel free to post them 30, 60, and/or 90 days later so the posts reach people who may not have seen them earlier. This also gives blog posts that didn’t receive a lot of attention another chance to shine. If a topic isn’t popular when you first blog about it, it could turn out to be just what your audience is looking for a couple months later!
