For years, LinkedIn has been a place where professionals can connect, network, discuss and promote their industry and businesses. LinkedIn has now expanded their features by introducing Showcase Pages, which help display your products and boost your company’s brand presence on LinkedIn.
What Are LinkedIn Showcase Pages: LinkedIn Showcase Pages are sub-pages of your company profile. The page enables users to highlight companies and brands by dedicating an entire page to the company. This page enables admins to share content with targeted audiences, create sponsored updates and sponsored InMail capabilities. Showcase Pages boost your company’s brand presence on the network and open new possibilities for those with a responsive audience on LinkedIn.
Why Use LinkedIn Showcase Pages: Does your company offer specific products of interest, have sister companies or sub-companies? Create showcase pages for these products to focus specifically on these items without interfering with the overall message you’re promoting on your LinkedIn Company Page. This can be helpful if your company offers a product or service but is not yet known for this product. If a LinkedIn user searches for the product or service, it is likely your showcase page will show up and your company will be brought to their attention.
How Do I Set Up My LinkedIn Showcase Page: Determine the pages you will need to create by considering the different companies, brands, products and services your company offers. Finalize this list and head to your LinkedIn company page. Click the edit menu on the top right and choose “Create a Showcase Page”. Create a summary of the page focus and post a page logo and header. Add any additional information you want to provide about your company and you will have a new LinkedIn Showcase Page.
What Can I Do With My LinkedIn Showcase Page: Showcase pages work the same as any other LinkedIn page, allowing you to share content with images that will become a part of the LinkedIn feed which is seen by your followers. This will allow you to post announcements, company content, third party content and any other relevant information you’d like. The beauty of using the showcase page is followers of the page will be receiving relevant information from that page, potentially persuading the follower to purchase products or services with your company. This is helpful when your company is promoting specific products or services because the message is less likely to be lost in the feed of the overarching company message.
LinkedIn Showcase Pages can focus and strengthen your message about particular products and services. You can start discussions about the products or services, provide statistics relevant to the page and promote content specific to the page. LinkedIn users will be attracted to your page and be more likely to engage with your company.
